tick talk

if the lines were fuzzy
and i wasn't
quite as cool
as i could be
could i fool
you for a tick
and talk you
into taking walks
along the seaside
picking seashells
with a soft shell crab like me?

Maybe more Dr. Seuss than ee cummings - my challenge for the toads today

  3. So romantic-a tick in moment's door is worthy!

  4. Excellent, for a soft shell crab like you. Looking forward to seeing how your second half century shapes up.
By the way, I took your name in vain when I commented on Susie's poem. Couldn't resist, despite being married to an inveterate punster.
